Tropical Storm Debby Preparations

Updated: Aug 7

SGWASA Offices plan to re-open on Friday, August 9th from noon to 4:00 pm.

Tropical Storm Debby is on track to impact the South Granville Water & Sewer Authority (SGWASA) service area. SGWASA's management teams are closely monitoring the situation and activated our emergency response plan. Utility crews and technicians are on standby, ready to address any issues that may arise.

Storms can be unpredictable, it is great to be prepared for common storm emergencies that arise. Sign up for SGWASA Alerts by clicking here to receive timely updates and notifications via email and SMS text message. Assemble a basic emergency kit including water, non-perishable food, flashlights, batteries, and first-aid supplies. Secure your property by trimming trees and shrubs, securing outdoor objects, and bringing in anything that could become a projectile.

Contact SGWASA to report any emergencies using the information found at sgwasa.org/emergency.

Follow @SGWASANC via X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for updates on office hour adjustments and other storm updates, as they arise.
