Budget Amendment #12 and Community Engagement

The South Granville Water & Sewer Authority appreciates each individual that attended the February 11, 2025 General Board Meeting. Your participation in the discussions surrounding projects, programs, and service impacts the decisions made at SGWASA. Each resident comment is taken seriously and used to foster ongoing discussion amongst SGWASA teams.

SGWASA’s Finance Director, Richard Balmer, provided quarterly financial updates to the Board during the meeting. The Board approved Budget Amendment #12 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, appropriating and reallocating budget for various line items.

These items include expenses related to press releases & communications, membership dues, unemployment insurance pool replenishment, various Human Resources trainings for employees related to workplace harassment and OSHA, general office supplies, raw water pump repair, and various water and wastewater treatment operational costs. The majority of this budget amendment utilizes budget from other line items while the remaining portion will be utilizing fund balance.
