Butner, NC. January 27, 2025 — This is an official notice from the South Granville Water and Sewer Authority (SGWASA). Due to emergency water main repair work performed by SGWASA utility crews at the 300 block of 27th Street in the Town of Butner, SGWASA water customers experienced a period of no pressure in the water distribution system from the repair. Water quality testing samples were collected following the emergency repairs to affirm the quality of the drinking water in the affected area.
Based on the laboratory analysis of the water samples collected by SGWASA following the water main break repairs, customers are hereby notified that the System Pressure Advisory is no longer in effect.
